Indoor Hot Tubs come with their own challenges including humid, moisture and water. From instillation to removal and everything in-between we will be your partner in indoor hot tub life.
There are many different ways to treat the water of your hot tub, bromine and chlorine being the most common. The big thing in choosing how to maintain your hot tub water is consistency. If you have a chlorine pool, then use the same for your hot tub. We recommend putting 3 tabs or ounces of bromine or chlorine in your filter area weekly. Non-chemical ways to sanitize your water can be UV light, an ozone system, or salt based systems, which we can install and maintain for you.
Use test strips before getting in to ensure the proper pH, and make sure to use a capful of shock in your water after getting out, leaving the cover open, to kill off harmful bacteria build-up.
Wash your filters weekly with a hose, and monthly soak with a hot bleach water solution. Replace filters yearly using the number and letter combo on the top of the filter. Water needs to be dumped at least every 3 months, but fresh water is best! Wipe the sides of your tub with a wash cloth regularly to remove any scum build up. Make sure you check the outside and inside of your tub regularly to ensure there are no leaks or anything out of the ordinary!
Indoor Hot Tub Maintenance
The 70's called and they want their tub back! Ha!
But seriously indoor hot tubs are such a rare find. They not only encapsulate decade but lifestyle that has pasted. With shag rugs and mirrors everywhere it hearkens a time where Hugh Hefner thrived and there was a pretty little thing waited for the King down in the jungle room.
With that in mind, there are few, if any, installations being preformed today. Therefore, it is your duty as a custodian of these amazing time capsules to maintain and repair them cat all cost.
Now without the dramatics, they are super cool and we get geeked out when we find one!
