Most stainless steel tub owners choose hydrogen peroxide as the method of sanitation as it is a natural product that returns to oxygen and water after sanitizing; it's soft on sensitive skin and doesn't inflame respiratory issues like asthma, and it's effective at reducing levels of pathogens on stainless steel surfaces. Other methods of sanitation include:
Ultraviolet (UV) system that uses radiation to sanitize hot tub water as it passes through a tube with UV bulbs. Mineral-based systems that use silver, copper, or other minerals to inhibit bacterial growth, Ionizers that release ions into the water to inhibit algae and bacteria growth, Ozonators that inject ozone into hot tub water. Enzyme-based treatment, Biguanide combined with non-bromine and non-chlorine based shock, Scale inhibitors, and keeping proper PH levels
